AMC Liquidators Helps Area Non-Profits
While Preparing for Big 2010 Announcement
Tamarac, FL - December 21, 2009. AMC Liquidators, Florida's largest pre-owned hotel, home and office furniture traders, is really getting into the spirit this holiday season. In preparation for a major upcoming event scheduled for public announcement January 2010, the AMC staff has been hard at work clearing out their 40,000 plus sq. feet of warehouse space to make way for the exciting new arrivals to be featured within the scope of the big news.
In the organizational process, a treasure trove of toys and goodies was unearthed and rather than placing them out on the showroom floor for resale, AMC has decided to donate the items to a few worthy charities within the surrounding community. Box loads of educational games, crayons, stuffed animals, musical instruments as well as Halloween makeup and costume accessories were just some of what was found hiding deep within the bays of AMC's warehouse behind some of the current inventory of outdoor and hotel furniture.
The items have been sorted and will be distributed to three different local non-profit organizations. The toys, stuffed animals and games will go to the Salvation Army of Fort Lauderdale.
Hundreds of cases of crayons will go to the Jack & Jill Children's Center of Fort Lauderdale, which provides family-oriented early childhood education and support to strengthen working families of Broward County.
Finally, the Halloween makeup and costume accessories will be presented to Trash to Treasure, an organization committed to locating clean, re-usable materials and redistributing those items as valuable educational and artistic resources for programs such as elementary, junior high and high school theater groups and art classes.
